Former NZ center Tuitupou to join Sale Sharks

STOCKPORT, England(AP) Former New Zealand center Sam Tuitupou will join English club Sale Sharks for next season after he completes his year with European rugby powerhouse Munster.
The 29-year-old Tuitupou has agreed to a two-year contract with the northwest England side. He scored 13 tries in 54 matches during three years with English Premiership side Worcester before moving to Ireland with Munster.
Sale director of rugby Steve Diamond says the 91-kilogram (200-pound) inside center "has a great work rate, is very strong in the contact area and will boost our back line in both attack and defense.''
Tuitupou won the 2003 Super 12 title with the Auckland Blues and made the last of his nine international appearances against South Africa five years ago.
