Updated: April 13, 2011, 12:01

CARDIFF, Wales(AP) Former New Zealand prop Carl Hayman has been added to the Barbarians squad for the June 4 meeting with Wales in Cardiff.

The 31-year-old Hayman, France center Mathieu Bastareaud and former England wing Paul Sackey have been picked alongside World Cup winners Ruan Pienaar and Francois Steyn.

Hayman played 48 times for the All Blacks before switching to Europe after the 2007 World Cup for a lucrative contract with English club Newcastle. He now plays for Toulon in France.

Barbarians team manager Alan Evans says Hayes and Pienaar are among "a number of quality internationals who are privileged to make their Barbarians debuts.''

The Welsh Rugby Union has decided to award its players caps for the World Cup warmup.
